London-Based Fashion Brands to Keep Up With

If you’re into streetwear, especially brands like Corteiz, you might be wondering which other standout fashion brands you should keep an eye on. What are some noteworthy brands worth adding to your radar?

1. BLANCS

I first discovered them through their grey joggers drop in 2023. They quickly expanded to various colorways, tracksuits, and t-shirts, showcasing a versatility that becomes more evident as the brand continues to grow. Sporting mainly a relaxed and chill vibe, the brand emphasises comfort whilst remaining stylish. Their pieces have been seen on public figures such as Nemzzz, Tajon Buchanan, Reece James and many more.

2. GCLO STUDIOS

Dating back to 2019, GCLO Studios has quickly established itself as a brand to watch, renowned for its creative and distinctive style. From denim workjeans to mesh jerseys and cargo skirts, GCLO has continued to stand out as one of THE fashion brands to keep coming back to. My personal favourite is the [clo] bag and I can’t wait till they restock!

3. PEAKTELEVISION

Their most recent drop in June put this brand on my radar and particularly their pioneer shorts as seen in the image below on the right. While the Pioneer shorts themselves embody a creativity that many brands strive for, the true innovation lies in the creative direction of the promotional shoots that generate interest in their drops.

4. 99ByJMS

Drawing on exclusivity and organic growth, 99byjms is definitely another brand that has been on my radar for a while now. Their recent pop-up in June attracted a crowd from the community they’ve built over time, eager to snap up trucker hats, t-shirts, and posters. I definitely have my eye on the yellow and black long sleeve polo shirt seen on social media!

5. Weaintboyz

A notable mention and personal favourite of mine is Weaintboyz. More like a multifaceted creative rather than solely a clothing brand, Weaintboyz’s iconic yellow and pink tees have undeniably earned a place in conversations about London’s fashion movements. Their two drops sold out within 5 minutes of the store opening (which is why I haven’t been able to cop a single piece). It’s no surprise, really, considering how fly the pieces are.

What sets all of these brands apart from the rest isn’t just the clothes or other apparel, but the creativity and originality in how they present their collections and build their communities, making it hard to replicate.
